We are actively recruiting foster parents who can provide respite care for children with special needs, for example autism. Respite care is in the foster parents’s home for up to 14 days a month.

We are actively recruiting foster parents who can provide a home for teenagers who display sexually-intrusive behaviours. Caregivers must have experience working with youth with mental health issues. These youth would benefit from being the only child in your home.
We are actively recruiting foster parents who can provide a temporary home for children under five years of age. Foster parents provide a loving and stable home environment for children who need short-term care.
Foster families may provide care on an emergency, short-term, or long-term basis. They provide children with a safe, nurturing and supportive home when they need it the most. Foster parents must be 19 years or older and residents of British Columbia. Foster families include single people as well as couples. Families may rent or own their home. Foster parents must successfully conplete all components of the selection process, including a police record check.
